Un Dyeable Weapons - Guild Wars Forums

Why hasnt Anet updated the game so that all the weapons can be dyed? I have silver armour with a nice Icy Dragon sword but then i have an aegis that i cant dye any colour! So my question is, Is Anet ever going to update these models so they can have dye applied???

Certain items aren't meant to be dyed, it's something we've all lived with since the release of Prophecies.

If your talking about an Exalted Aegis I think it looks better in black. I'm sure there is a shield out there more to your liking somewhere!

If not, well, like heist said, some things just cannot be dyed...

its just a normal aegis. malinons shield to be exact

Except for Straw Effigies, you can't dye green items. Not that you could dye regular Shields of the Wing anyway, which is what you're getting at I guess.

Kinda silly really, dunno what the reasoning was behind not being able to dye greens...I'd love a few of mine a better colour
